Vascular Surgery

The Division of Vascular Surgery offers the latest treatment for circulatory diseases. This includes stroke, vascular leg pain and conditions due to diabetes, aneurysms and varicose veins.

Cedars-Sinai also offers the recently FDA-approved stent grafting technique for abdominal aortic aneurysms. (This is a bulging of the wall of the aorta in the abdomen caused by a disease of the wall of the aorta.) Stent grafting is a less invasive treatment than traditional surgery. This means shorter stays in the hospital and a faster return to normal daily activities and eating.

For patients who need dialysis, we do the surgery needed to start the treatment. The vascular surgeons at Cedars-Sinai focus their practice on vascular disorders. All are certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
