Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Support Group

If you:

• have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS);
• have acne, difficulty losing weight, hirsutism or excess hair growth, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome or infertility
• would like to have a chance to talk in a comfortable environment with women who are experiencing the same issues

Then you'll be glad to know that our PCOS Support Group was designed especially for you and the issues you face every day.

When: We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. There is no charge to join or attend these monthly meetings. Parking will be validated for appropriate visitor's parking lots.

Sessions: Each session will be led by healthcare providers who help those with endocrine, metabolic, and/or infertility disorders. Each month we'll feature guest speakers and we will allow time for group interaction. Come once or join us for topics that change each month.

Monthly topics include:

• How does your eating shape up?
• Body image and self
• Dealing with diabetes and insulin resistance
• Stress management and physical activity
• Planning your food day and goal setting

There is no charge for this support group. Space is limited. Healthy refreshments will be provided. RSVP early.
