Run Yu, MD, PhD

Medical Director, Carcinoid and Neuroendocrine Tumor Center

Run Yu, MD, PhD is the Medical Director of the Carcinoid and Neuroendocrine Tumor Center at Cedars-Sinai.

Dr. Yu is board certified in internal medicine and in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. His clinical and research interests include general endocrinology, diabetes and endocrine tumors.

Dr. Yu has written articles for several peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, Molecular Pharmacology, Journal of Biological Chemistry and Journal of Endocrinology. He is a member of The Endocrine Society and The Pituitary Society.

Dr. Yu received his medical degree from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing and his doctorate from the University of Rochester in New York, where he complete postdoctoral fellowship. Dr. Yu also completed an endocrine research fellowship, an internal medicine internship and residency, and a clinical endocrinology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine.
