Grand Rounds and Conferences

Symposium on Neurovascular Disease 2009

Neurovascular disease is the number one cause of adult disability. More than four million Americans have survived a stroke, and most will never recover completely. This conference will review the latest diagnoses, newly approved therapies for lessen symptoms and emerging surgical treatment options for degenerative neurological disorders. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions with renowned faculty who are involved in initiating these neurological advances.

Advances in Neurology and Neurosurgery 2009

Clinical neurosciences are undergoing rapid changes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, especially in the fields of brain tumors, spinal disorders, vascular disease and stroke. At this conference, physicians and other healthcare professionals will be updated on both established and emerging treatment options for delivering optimal care to their patients.

Grand Rounds

The Department of Neurosurgery Grand Rounds series has been designed to educate our medical staff, residents, fellows and community physicians on the diagnosis and management of various nervous system disorders, and to share the latest strategies in neurological research endeavors. The Department of Neurosurgery multi-disciplinary faculty and visiting professors present on a broad range of topics.
