Gene Could Prevent Heart Disease

Studies of a mutant gene may prove a new and unusual way to prevent heart disease. The gene could be used to reverse heart problems, as it makes a powerful form of HDL - good cholesterol - that rips away the heart attack-causing fat on blood vessels.
