ACRIN 6678: FDG-PET/CT as a Predictive Marker of Tumor Response and Patient Outcome: Prospective Validation in Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma (A Multicenter Clinical Trial)

Working Title:

ACRIN 6678: FDG PET/CT to Evaluate Treatment Response in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Summary:

The purpose of this clinical trial is to demonstrate that quantitative changes in FDG uptake during chemotherapy provides an early indication of the effectiveness of therapy in patients with advanced non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC).
