Kenneth W. Adashek, MD, FACS

Attending Surgeon, Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center; Cedars-Sinai Thyroid Cancer Center

Kenneth W. Adashek, MD, FACS is an attending surgeon at the Cedars-Sinai Thyroid Cancer Center and the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center, A Project of Women's Guild. He also is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Adashek is a former chairman of the Division of General Surgery at Cedars-Sinai and a former co-director of the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center.

The clinical focus of Dr. Adashek's practice is thyroid, parathyroid and breast surgery.

A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Adashek has served as an associate examiner for the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Adashek received his bachelor's degree (summa cum laude) from UCLA and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Regents Scholar and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Societies. He earned his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine, and completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in general surgery at the UCLA Hospital and Clinics.
