Dr. Lee received his bachelor's degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of California, Berkeley, with a minor in philosophy. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed internal medicine residencies at the Los Angeles County - USC Medical Center and the Veteran's Affairs, Downtown Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center.
