Jeffrey A. Klemes, DPM

Director, Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program

Jeffrey A. Klemes, DPM, FACFAS is Director of the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program and an attending surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He was Division Chief of Podiatric Surgery and Clinical Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Cedars-Sinai from 2002-2007.

Dr. Klemes has been involved in residency training for over 20 years. He has served as Director of the Surgical Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai, which officially started in 2001. He has been a surgical residency evaluator for Council on Podiatric Medical Education/Joint Residency Review Committee (CPME/JRRC). He has served on the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) credentialing and examination committees and has been an oral examiner for ABPS for 18 years.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from University of California Berkeley, Dr. Klemes studied sports medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles in the graduate Department of Kinesiology. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, and completed a two-year podiatric surgical residency program from California College of Podiatric Medicine/Pacific Coast Hospital in San Francisco. He was Clinical Assistant Professor at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.
