Oxana Tcherniantchouk, MD is Director of the Coagulation Services and one of the hematopathologists in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Tcherniantchouk is a frequent lecturer on abnormalities of coagulation and is actively involved in resident and fellow education. Her research in nuclear medicine and clinical coagulation issues has been presented at a number of national meetings. During her residency, Dr. Tcherniantchouk received the Leo G.Rigler Award for Outstanding Academic Achievements in Pathology and received the Norman Poe Memorial Scholarship Award from the Regional Society of Nuclear Medicine for the Most Outstanding Abstract.
Dr. Tcherniantchouk received her medical degree from Uzgorod State University, Ukraine. After an internal medicine residency at Uzgorod State University, she fulfilled a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was also Chief Resident. Dr. Tcherniantchouk completed fellowships in hematopathology and coagulation also at Cedars-Sinai. Following her fellowships, she was instrumental in the creation of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Department of Pathology Coagulation Consultation Service.
