The understanding of Parkinson's disease, development of new treatments and research into finding a cure is constantly evolving and progressing. This conference will address the topic of what is new in Parkinson's disease in the areas of treatment, management of symptoms and disease progression, and understanding how the disease affects mental and behavioral functioning.
The conference will conclude with information on a new physical therapy approach specifically designed for Parkinson's disease to help improve movement and daily functioning. Each presentation will be followed by a brief question-and-answer period.
