Evan Koursh, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and works with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.
Dr. Koursh received a bachelor's degree in physiology, English, microbiology and psychology (cum laude) from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He attended the University of Health Sciences, Chicago, Medical School. At medical school, he was vice president, American Medical Student Association; vice president, Student Council; and appointee to the Board of Trustees. His internships and residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics were completed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also was a resident fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Koursh has been a member of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group since 1989. He has been involved in the Step Ahead Program, Hamline University, St. Paul, Minn.; worked as a resident advisor and senior resident advisor, University of Minnesota; been president of Mortar Board. He has served as the medical director for the Dream Street Foundation for 12 years. He has also held memberships in the American Medical Association and Los Angeles Pediatric Society.
