Information and Support for Patients

Facing heart conditions is a difficult and sometimes frightening process. Cedars-Sinai's doctors and nurses work to provide patients with compassionate care that makes the patient a partner in the healthcare process.

This section will provide you with a variety of information to support you and help you prepare for any procedures.

For patients in the hospital and their families, the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute offers the Cardiac Channel on the Medical Center's closed circuit television system.

Additionally, information is available in this section to help patients prepare for cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic studies.

To help patients better understand heart treatments and procedures, Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute provides the Cardiac Patient and Family Education Handbook.
