Helping to Relieve and Manage Pain

The Pain Center staff works in partnership with referring physicians to provide care for patients with chronic or acute pain. Supported by leading-edge technology and the newest research discoveries, the Center's experienced, knowledgeable pain specialists conduct a complete analysis of each patient and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Depending on the patient's condition, our doctors can relieve pain completely, reduce the amount of pain or provide methods and medications that may help long-term pain patients cope better with the condition in their daily lives. Overall, The Pain Center's goals include helping patients have a greater sense of control over their condition. Doctors share techniques for reducing pain, reducing the amount of drugs taken and improving everyday activity levels.

The Pain Center at Cedars-Sinai offers the full range of services, including evaluation, diagnosis, therapy, anesthesia-based procedures and pain rehabilitation.

Among the treatments offered at The Pain Center are:

  • Acupuncture
  • Interventional pain management
