
Mark Noah, MD, FACP is Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Noah is also Director of both Graduate and Continuing Education within the Department of Academic Affairs at Cedars-Sinai and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Noah has received several awards for teaching excellence, including the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Award for Excellence in Education from UCLA School of Medicine, the Clinician-Teacher Award from Southern California Society of General Internal Medicine and the Education Award from California Region Society of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Noah is the inaugural holder of the Melvin Brody, MD endowed Chair in Medical Education at Cedars-Sinai.
A member of numerous academic societies, Dr. Noah served as president of the Southern California Society for General Internal Medicine. He has given lectures and presentations in the field of medical education and internal medicine, and he has conducted multiple workshops for the Association of Program Directors of Internal Medicine. Recently, he has been invited to lecture on the future of residency training and healthcare in the 21st century.
Dr. Noah received his bachelor's and medical degrees from UCLA. He completed an internship and a residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai and a fellowship in medical education at UCLA. He is an elected fellow of the American College of Physicians.
