Neurosurgery Clerkships for Fourth Year Medical Students

The Department of Neurological Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center offers a clinical elective that is open to fourth year students from any United States accredited medical school.

The clinical clerkships allow students considering a residency in neurological surgery to assist faculty and the current residents in all aspects of the neurosurgery service through the adult and pediatric intracranial service and the spine neurosurgical service.

A clerkship is highly recommended for students interested in applying to the Cedars-Sinai Department of Neurological Surgery Residency Program. A minimum rotation of three weeks is suggested.

For questions, please contact the Residency Coordinator, Samantha Phu at phus@cshs.org or at the address below.
